About me: <p><strong>Welcome to Little Bear Learning Canada!</strong> š»š</p> <p>Iām a certified educator with a <strong>Masterās degree in Education</strong> and <strong>over 10 years of teaching experience</strong> across special education, ESL, and elementary classrooms. My teaching journey has taken me from <strong>Canada </strong>to international classrooms in <strong>South Korea</strong> and the <strong>United Kingdom</strong>, shaping my approach to inclusive, culturally responsive learning.</p> <p>I specialize in <strong>special education</strong> and have extensive experience supporting students with <strong>Developmental Disabilities (DD), Autism, and Down syndrome</strong>. As a Developmental Disabilities Intensive Support ProgramĀ teacher (self contained) I regularly collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including <strong>ABA therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists</strong>, to create meaningful, accessible learning experiences for every student.</p> <p>My Boom Cards are thoughtfully designed with <strong>simplicity, repetition, and engagement</strong> in mindāperfect for learners who benefit from structured, predictable activities. I focus on building <strong>core vocabulary, communication skills, and early literacy</strong>, making my resources ideal for AAC users, emerging readers, and students in inclusive or specialized settings.</p> <p>I created Little Bear Learning Canada (names after my dog) to share resources that truly meet students where they areāhelping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning through interactive play.</p>
