About me: Hello, My name is Sharon Wood. <span style="color:rgb(49, 49, 49);font-family:Verdana, Arial, Geneva, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13.3px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;">I currently teach Elementary Physical Education in Indiana. I have been an Elementary/Middle School and High School Physical Education teacher for 30 years. In addition to teaching I have extensive coaching experience in tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball and rope skipping teams. </span><span style="color:rgb(49, 49, 49);font-family:Verdana, Arial, Geneva, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13.3px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;">I am a get up and go type of teacher. I like to have my students actively engaged in learning and participating to the fullest of their potential. I fully believe &quot;You miss 100% of the shots you never take&quot;(Wayne Gretzky)! My goal is to create a learning environment for kids to try new things and believe in themselves. My curriculum is cross curricular to reinforce the skills that students are learning in the classroom. Students in my classroom enjoy the varied style of teaching when working in whole class instruction, small groups, stations and individual projects.
