About me: <p>About Me</p> <p>I am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 21 years of experience serving students in a large public school district. I have worked as a school-based SLP since 2004, supporting learners across a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. I maintain my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed through the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). My professional teaching licenses include Speech, Language, and Hearing Disorders (Levels: All) and English as a Second Language (Grades 5–12).</p> <p>In addition to creating resources for SLPs, special education teachers, and ESL teachers, Alexis develops Italian language learning materials for novice learners. Her resources combine vocabulary, communication, culture, stories, and interactive activities to help students build confidence and proficiency in Italian.</p>
