About me: <p>Hello Everyone, </p> <div> </div> <div>I'm Liz and I have had two important roles in my life, as a mother and as a teacher. I have three children, Robbie (7) and Tommy (4) and Ryanne (1). I've enjoyed teaching and learning from many young preschoolers as they entered my classroom over the last 14 years, each unique and each special. <div> <div>As a special education preschool teacher, I've become very comfortable teaching and creating lessons with my little ones' needs in mind. Primarily I work with students with an ASD diagnosis or similar needs. While no two children are the same, I have found certain types of instructional practices, especially those with visual components to be especially helpful with helping my little ones concretize concepts and understand expectations. </div> <div>My "Lessons" range from helpful informal assessments, to decks that work on linguistic concepts, math skills, visual/ perception awareness, and more. </div> <div> </div> <div>I welcome feedback on my decks and insight to the type of decks that you would find helpful in your classroom. </div> </div> </div>
