Autism Grown Up

About me: Life skills, vocational, and social activities & resources for Autistic students as they grow up. Also applicable for those seeking similar supports in special education, counseling, and more. ∞ We are a non-profit organization with a small but mighty neurodiverse team. Our resources are informed by the Autistic community and people in their support networks. 📚 Our small interdisciplinary team has multiple graduate degrees spanning from special education, child development, public policy, and social work. 🪴 About Our Executive Director: Dr. Tara Regan has 2 Autistic brothers and has been in the autism field for over 15 years. Dr. Regan has worked in elementary to high schools, postsecondary education, recreational camp programming, and community-based services. She is also an autism researcher and university instructor working with future educators and professionals, community organizations, and schools. In 2018, after earning her PhD at UNC-Chapel Hill in the Applied Developmental Science and Special Education Program, she founded Autism Grown Up.
