About me: I am the creator of The Color-Coded Chef cooking kit. My passion is helping individuals with developmental disabilities work on skills as they strive for independence. The exciting part is that these skills apply to everyone. Ready to expand your classroom experience with a dash of fun and a sprinkle of real-world skills? Deanna Heuring is a collaborator with the Color-Coded Chef and a Special Education teacher with over 15 years of experience in the field. Majority of her experience is in Transition and Vocational Education. She currently teaches inside an International Corporation in the St. Louis area. She has taken the concepts of the kit and supporting materials and ensured they fit the needs of students, teachers, and Adult Service Agencies.
