Kamp Kindergarten

About me: I am retired with 35 years of experience working with young children. I have taught kindergarten and first grade, with most of my experience in kindergarten. I believe that young children learn best when they take an active role in their learning. I strongly believe in developmentally appropriate activities for little learners. I hold a BA in Early Childhood Education, an M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education, and an Ed. S. in Early Childhood Education. I attended LaGrange College and West Georgia College, now the University of West Georgia. My late mother was a teacher who retired after 37 years of service. My late brother was a teacher who passed away in the second semester of his 28th year of teaching. Two of my sisters-in-law are teachers. I am married and have an adult son. My husband and I like to travel. We have visited most of the lower 48 states with our camper.
