About me: Hi, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a lifelong educator with more than 35 years of experience in the classroom and in educational leadership. I’ve taught in five school districts across the United States and one international school system, and I’ve had the joy of working with students from PK bilingual through 4th grade. Over the years, I’ve also served as a SPED Coordinator, Instructional Technology Specialist, and Technology Integration Specialist for ESC-20, where I supported 58 school districts across Texas. Helping teachers and students succeed has always been at the heart of everything I do. I love creating resources that are practical, engaging, and easy to use—materials that save teachers time while helping students build confidence and skills. My background in both classroom teaching and instructional technology has shaped the way I design my Boom Cards and other resources, always with real classrooms and real learners in mind. I hold a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and certifications in PK–K, K–6, and Special Education. I’ve been honored to be named Teacher of the Year four times, and I’ve had the opportunity to present for Microsoft in Education, Promethean, and Core Knowledge at educational conferences. I also served as a Professor and Adjunct Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of the Incarnate Word.
