Middle School in the Mitten
About me: <p>Hi, there! I'm Aly - a middle school resource room/special education teacher from Michigan who focuses on making math and reading skills accessible to all students. </p> <p>Over my ten years in the classroom, I've taught math and math intervention, ELA and phonics intervention, and co-taught in 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade math, science, social studies, and ELA courses. I'm certified in general education, cognitive impairments, learning disabilities, and curriculum and design - so creating easy-to-use activities that truly support learning is what I'm all about! </p> <p>My store includes straightforward upper elementary and middle school math resources, as well as phonics activities that don't look too "babyish". I create resources for the modern student to increase their engagement, understanding, and confidence, and my goal with creating Middle School in the Mitten was to share these impactful resources & ideas with world-changing teachers like you!</p>
