Effective Math Lessons

About me: Hi, My name is Monica Yuskaitis and I have been in education most of my life. I taught 28 years in public schools covering grades k-10th grade. I taught in every one of those grades with the exception of first grade. The majority of those years I worked at the upper elementary levels (4th, 5th & 6th grades). I was a math coach for 4 years and worked with Math Matters and the CSIN Math programs. I fell in love with technology early on and wrote programs and lessons for my students and eventually for all elementary levels in my district using technology. In addition, I have been a mentor for new teachers for several years. I have also worked at the administrative level for 7 years. Even though I am retired now, I still am heavily involved in writing math curriculum.
