About me: <p>Hi! I’m Amber, a certified elementary educator with <strong>13+ years of classroom experience</strong> teaching <strong>1st–4th grade</strong> students across <strong>language arts, math, science, and social studies</strong>. While I’ve taught multiple grade levels, my heart (and most of my experience!) lives in <strong>2nd and 3rd grade</strong>, where I love helping students build strong foundational skills with confidence.</p> <p>In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve worked as a <strong>reading coach</strong>, supporting teachers in strengthening their reading instruction through <strong>research-based best practices</strong>. Coaching gave me a deeper understanding of how students learn and how small instructional shifts can make a big impact—something I intentionally design into every Boom Deck I create.</p> <p>I hold a <strong>Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida</strong> and a <strong>Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida</strong>.</p> <p>My Boom Learning resources are designed for <strong>1st–3rd grade learners</strong>, with a strong focus on <strong>math</strong>—especially skill practice that is engaging, interactive, and developmentally appropriate. I aim to create decks that save teachers time while helping students truly understand what they’re learning.
