About me: <p>Welcome to Literacy 4 Kids! </p> <p>With over 25 years of experience in education, I bring a deep passion for literacy and a strong commitment to supporting student success. My journey as an educator has included:</p> <p>*B.A. - University of Mary Hardin Baylor (Elementary Education; Reading)<br /> *M.A. - University of Houston - Clear Lake (School Library and Media Science)</p> <p>* ½ year as a student teacher in grades 2nd and 8th<br /> * ½ year as a reading teacher for dyslexic students<br /> * 4 years teaching 3rd grade Language Arts & Social Studies in Texas (Title I School)<br /> * 2 years serving as a school librarian in Houston, Texas<br /> * 10 years serving as a Media Specialist in Georgia (TItle I School)<br /> * 9 years serving as a Media Specialist in Alabama</p> <p>Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with students and teachers, building a strong foundation in reading instruction, curriculum design, and library/media services.
