First Grade Magic - Melissa Mitchell

About me: <p>I'm Melissa and I've been teaching for 26 years. I have experience teaching many grades but most of my teaching time has been spent in kindergarten, first grade and third grade. Currently I teach third grade math and science. I have a bachelors degree in Elementay Education from Cal Poly HumboldtI, and a masters degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Educational Leadership. I have both a professional teaching license and an administrator license for the state of Tennessee. I started creating Boom Cards during the pandemic when I was teaching virtually but I've continued using them even as we're back in traditional classrooms. My students love using them and I love creating them!  My current passion is for creating science content since I have found it difficult to find digital content to support my science standards. </p>
