About me: <p>My name is Yesenia and I retired from teaching in May 2022 after 29 years of teaching. I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade.  I am currently working as a mentor to first and second-year teachers.  I am passionate about integrating technology into the classroom, having students work collaboratively to solve a problem, and taking control of their own learning. I graduated with an Interdisciplinary Bilingual Education degree from The University of Texas-Pan American.</p>
