About me: <p>My name is Yesenia and I retired from teaching in May 2022 after 29 years of teaching. I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, both Bilingual and ESL.  I taught all subjects in 2nd and 3rd grade and Language Arts in 5th Grade. For the last three years, I worked as a mentor to first and second-year teachers.  I am passionate about integrating technology into the classroom, having students work collaboratively to solve a problem, and taking control of their learning. I graduated with an Interdisciplinary Bilingual Education degree from The University of Texas-Pan American and have a lifetime certification in Texas to teach.1st through 8th grade, ESL and Bilingual. </p>
