About me: I have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. After 14 years of classroom teaching, I accepted a position as an instructional coach. I worked with teachers in grades K-5 on implementing best practices for math, ELA, and technology, by modeling lessons, co-teaching, and working one-on-one planning with teachers. After just one year as an instructional coach, I realized that my true passion is teaching children and having my own classroom. I am grateful for the opportunity that coaching gave me, and I am more excited than ever to be back in the classroom...as a second-grade teacher!
