About me:
Turning Communication Into Connection

I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with 11 years of experience working with children and young adults across a variety of educational and clinical settings. My experience includes supporting students with receptive and expressive language needs, speech sound disorders, social communication needs, and AAC. In addition to working as a school-based SLP, I own and operate K-Turn Speech Therapy, LLC, an in-home private speech therapy practice. I create many of the resources in this store with real therapy sessions and busy educators in mind—practical, engaging materials that can be easily incorporated into meaningful language and literacy activities.

I believe communication develops best through connection, engagement, and meaningful experiences. My therapy style combines evidence-based practice with play, literacy, hands-on activities, visual supports, and student interests. I especially love creating materials that make books more interactive and accessible. I incorporate visuals, AAC supports, interactive technology, crafts, and language activities to help students actively participate rather than simply listen and respond. My goal is to create resources that are engaging for students while remaining practical and easy for educators and SLPs to use.
