The Dyslexic Occupational Therapist

About me: <p>Hello, I am happy you are here! I am a registered occupational therapist who specializes in the neurodivergent population. I have a special connection with neurodivergent populations since I am neurodivergent myself. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 5 years old, and it forever changed my life. Now that I am an adult and occupational therapist, I will be forever grateful for dyslexia and what it has provided to my life. As a child, I found it a curse and my biggest embarrassment. Now, I help a child like my younger self find confidence, individuality, and independence in their neurodiversity through occupational therapy instead of viewing it as a curse. </p>
