About me: Jennifer is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Science in K-6 education and a rich 13-year career in elementary education. She has honed her expertise through 8 years teaching 1st grade, 4 years in 2nd grade, and her current role educating gifted students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. This wide-ranging experience has granted Jennifer a deep understanding of the diverse needs and learning preferences of elementary students. Beyond the classroom, Jennifer's commitment to educational excellence shines in her work in Title One schools. She has played a crucial role in providing intervention for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and tutored at-risk 3rd grade students after school hours, leading to improved student outcomes. Jennifer has a passion for creating engaging, student-centered supplemental materials and lessons. She firmly believes in the efficacy of play-based learning, with a focus on tailoring educational experiences to student interests, fostering a genuine love for learning.
