About me: How FRUSTRATING is it when one of your students needs extra INDIVIDUAL support to reinforce a skill, but there is never enough TIME for you to give the child that critical SUPPORT and/or PRACTICE that he/she desperately needs? IF ONLY you had a classroom TUTOR who is always available to help students who need it, WHEN they need it. Well, help has arrived! "MY READING TUTOR" offers Boom Card Decks that offer INDEPENDENT, ENGAGING practice with IMMEDIATE feedback. THIS IS NOT A CURRICULUM. The cards reinforce phonological skills in areas in which the child may be weak. After 40+ years of teaching, I continue to have a deep passion to help children who struggle to learn. Self-esteem suffers when academics do not come easily; however, with proven, research-based strategies and best practices, success is within reach. All of my decks are based on research.
