Assistive Technology Connection

About me: Assistive Technology Connection aims to raise awareness about assistive technology (AT) tools and strategies. The RealTalk product line is designed for speech-language pathologists and educators who support students with complex communication needs. Each deck features high-quality, realistic photos that promote vocabulary acquisition and generalization. RealTalk decks pair seamlessly with any AAC system and include 40 speech-generating core words to create engaging, multimodal learning experiences. About the author: Becky Woolley works as an Assistive Technology Specialist for a large school district, where she supports AAC users, SLPs, and teachers. As the co-owner of Assistive Technology Connection, she works alongside Samantha Hagness, M.S., CCC-SLP, to create products and resources that help educators better support AAC users and all learners who benefit from rich visual supports for language and learning. Becky holds the ASHA C-SLPA certification as well as the RESNA ATP certification.
