About me: I help music teachers develop students' music reading and performance skills and have fun doing it! I've spent over 25 years teaching instrumental and vocal music in grades K-12 with the majority of my career in the elementary music classroom. I have served as the head music teacher at Jefferson City Public Schools and taught online via distance learning for the Missouri Launch Program. I continue to serve as a mentor to new music teachers and conduct workshops upon request. My education includes the following. • Bachelor of Music • Kodály Certifications (Levels 1, 2, and 3) • Master of Science in Education (Elementary Music Focus) • Instructional Technology Certificate in Curriculum and Design. I have had the privilege of performing in our local theatre pit orchestras alongside many of my former students who have become life-long, accomplished musicians. We are here to help you make learning to read music fun and lead your students to become life-long musicians. 🎶
