About me: <p>Mrs. Savannah Shafer is a Life Science 7-12 Teacher based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in Texas. Life Sciences and designing learning activities is her passion!</p> <p>Since 2017, Mrs. Shafer has taught Biology, Honors Biology, Environmental Systems, and AP Environmental Science. Many of her students have been considered at-risk, limited English proficient, and/or emergent bilingual.</p> <p>Mrs. Shafer's primary goal is to create engaging content that supports students through higher stages of critical thinking. Her content incorporates scaffolding, sleek design, and gradual release strategies. By the end of every activity, students should feel confident and proud of what they accomplished!</p>
