Excited in Elementary

About me: <p>Hello Friends!</p> My name is Crystal King and I am the owner of Excited in Elementary. I am a fourth grade teacher at a Title I school. I taught third grade for six years and fourth grade for two years. Out of those years I was a departmentalized reading/ELA teacher for three, departmentalized virtual math/science teacher for one, and self-contained teacher of all subjects for three.   I became a teacher because I love working with children and seeing them grow and learn every day. I started creating Boom Cards during my fourth year teaching when I was chosen to be a virtual math teacher. I needed something simple and effective that would check for student understanding, but would also be fun and engaging for the students who use it. I try to focus my cards around individual skills so that children can become successful in completing them and learning the task at hand.   I love creating and sharing my creativity with others, so I truly hope that you enjoy my work!   - Crystal King : Excited in Elementary -
