About me: Welcome to my boom store! I'm a trained and registered speech-language pathologist based in the Philippines (PH 🇵🇭), with over five years of experience working in the pediatric field across 5 different therapy centers. I specialize in supporting children with communication difficulties through engaging, evidence-based intervention, offered both in-person and online. I provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions with kids ages 1-14 years old, tailoring each session to meet individual learning styles and communication needs. In my spare time, I also do itinerant work in the provinces of the Philippines, create educational materials, or look for ways to expand my skill set. I hold a certification in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and have been integrating it in my practice since 2021. In 2024, I completed my certification in Level 1 Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) training, and I will soon be pursuing a certification in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets). Since 2022,I have been designing educational resources for children with communication challenges, with the goal of empowering them to communicate confidently through fun, accessible, and purposeful learning. My Boom Card decks target a wide range of speech and language skills, including articulation, comprehension, AAC use, vocabulary development, and more. 💡 The decks were made in mind to also help other teachers, therapists, and/or parents in their own therapy sessions or classrooms settings. I enjoy designing digital materials for learners of all abilities.
