About me: <p>I am a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with 37 years of experience supporting students from kindergarten through adult programs. Born in Costa Rica and raised bilingual, I am fluent in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds.</p> <p>I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked across all levels of our school system. In 1998, I developed the Work Experience and Community-Based Instruction curriculum for our high school program, helping students build real-world and workplace readiness skills.</p> <p>Since 2020, I have been converting our curriculum to digital formats to better meet the needs of students with learning challenges, creating interactive materials that increase engagement and accessibility. I actively collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff to ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.</p>
