About me: <p>I'm a dedicated special education teacher with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Born in Costa Rica and raised in a bilingual household, I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to effectively communicate with students and their families from diverse backgrounds. I understands the importance of incorporating technology into education to enhance learning experiences for students with special needs on my 36 years of teaching. I’m actively collaborating with parents, fellow educators, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new educational technologies, attending professional development workshops, and volunteering in my community. I believe in lifelong learning and continuously seeks ways to refine my teaching practices to better serve my students.</p>
