About me: <p>Tara Dodrill is the creator of The Homestead Homeschool, a full Kâ12 hands-on curriculum designed to help children connect education with real life. A former classroom teacher with more than 10 years of experience in education, Tara creates engaging homeschool resources, educational games, activity decks, workbooks, and interactive learning materials for children of all ages.</p> <p>In addition to developing The Homestead Homeschool curriculum, Tara also runs a multi-county homeschool co-op and hosts hands-on history, homesteading, survival skills, and nature-based learning events for homeschool families throughout the region. Her passion is creating meaningful educational experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and a love of learning.</p> <p>Tara is also a journalist, author, curriculum designer, graphic designer, and homesteader who specializes in creating interactive educational materials that blend academics with practical life skills and adventure-based learning.</p> <p>The Homestead Homeschool resources are used by homeschooling families, classrooms, co-ops, and afterschool programs across the United States.</p> <p>Tara believes children learn best when learning is interactive, memorable, and connected to the real world â because education should be an adventure!</p>
