Hustle & Heart in Elementary

About me: Hi everyone! My name is Chrissy from Hustle and Heart in Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Youngstown State University. I also have taken extensive graduate level coursework in Teaching English as a Second Language and Literacy Studies. Being from Ohio, upon completing my Bachelor's degree, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona to teach Kindergarten to English Language Learners. In Arizona, I taught for a total of 9 years in 2 districts - all as a Kindergarten teacher for multilingual students. After my amazing time in Arizona, I moved to Michigan to continue my teaching career, where I am now. I have experience teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade here in Michigan and have the incredible opportunity to loop from K to 1 every other year with my students. I also have experience teaching ELA, Math, and SEL in summer school and after school academy to students in grades K-3. My resources are reflective of my 14 years, and counting, teaching experience. I love to find new and engaging ways to help students and teachers and I'm so excited to be able to bring some digital learning to your classrooms!
