Practice the phonemic awareness skill of sound substitution / phoneme substitution of beginning, middle and ending sounds with this set of 20 task cards. Students complete a word chain by spelling 3 CVC words, where one sound is substituted each time. Once they have spelled the words they need to identify which sound has changed from one word to the other and click the happy face under the corresponding letter.
