Description: Go on a firefly catching adventure with this review of note and rest values in 6/8 meter! Students will identify the number of beats associated with each note or rest and "catch" the fireflies by dragging and dropping them into the jar. In some cards the kind of note (quarter note/eighth note, etc.) is identified; in others, the student must decide what sort of note it is. Multiple choice questions are included for variety. This deck includes note values common in 6/8 time: whole rest, dotted half note, dotted quarter note/rest, quarter note/rest, eighth rest, single eighth note, and groups of two and three eighth notes. If your students aren't ready for certain note/rest values yet, just turn them off in the Preview/Prep mode! Two teaching cards begin each play-through. Instructions are provided in written and audio form. The first two quiz cards play the audio automatically, after which the student will receive 15 randomized cards and may choose whether or not to use the audio instructions. Alt-text is provided for images and sounds, and tab order is optimized to allow for the use of tab navigation.
