Description: This is a language game targeting antonyms designed for teletherapy speech therapy sessions for upper elementary and middle school students. It is a board game with 6 pumpkin board game pieces, a rolling die video, and a board game with 56 spots. Each spot on the board links to a question prompt asking the student to identify an antonym. The answer choices are draggable, and the correct answer choice gives the student instructions on what candy they earned. The candy bag page has four pumpkin bags with labels to write the player's name. The game supports 4 players as there are only 4 pumpkin bags. Under each prompt, the student is given 4 answer choices as well as a sample sentence and definition that are covered by a draggable box, which can help gauge familiarity with words. All of the words used in this activity are tier 2 vocabulary recommended for grades 4-7, but given the available scaffolding, this can also be used for younger students or articulation carryover. A great extension of this activity is to prompt students to put the word in their own sentence (and there is enough candy on the board to award extra candy). The ending square leads to a drag and drop create your own jack-o-lantern game.
