Description: This BOOM deck helps to reinforce the skills taught in Fundations Level 1 Unit 1 Week 3 Day 3. This is not meant to replace direct instruction, but to give students an enrichment opportunity. This game would be especially helpful for Distance Learning. This game is not randomized. There are several different slides. There is introduce letter, keyword, sound, find the letter, letter formation, Vowel Extension, letter tile board, match the letters . Today's lesson focuses on introducing the letter, keyword, sound for x & y. In this game, on slides 36, 37, & 38 I ask students to practice writing the focus letter on a piece of paper. Boom does not have the capability to have students to write on the screen. This was my only solution for practicing handwriting. If you do not want your students to see these slides, you can simply hide them before you assign this game to students. Don't Worry, there are more to come!
