Description: This deck of 53 cards identifies people in the community. The cards include labeling and matching vocabulary to nouns activities. The 11 community helpers include police, hair dresser, business person, farmer, construction worker, chef, mechanic, doctor, detective, astronaut and zoo keeper. Students will match hats, buildings and vehicles to the corresponding community helper. Students also will match the community helper to a description of his or her occupation. The deck has many choices depending on the child's abilities. You can use all the cards in the deck or skip cards to customize to your student's learning needs.
