Description: This Boom deck includes 20 digital math task cards for identifying the missing side of squares and rectangles when given the area. The task cards include two different ways for students to work with area problems. An anchor chart style slide is also included at the beginning of the deck to provide a short review for students. Both customary and metric units of measure are used. · With the yellow cards, students are given a model, the length, and the total area. Students must select the missing side by answering multiple choice format questions. · With the blue cards, students are given a model, the length, and the total area. Students must find the missing side and answer using fill in the blank style questions.
