Description
PURPOSE: To use identify a variety of words to describe a picture, and then create a sentence with those words to describe the picture. Students have difficulty using a variety of words to describe a picture. With this activity, students can describe the picture using "people, action, place, describe” categories to come up with vocabulary words before creating a complete sentence to describe the picture. Visual prompts are provided to help students come up with vocabulary words from different categories. AAC users can use the AAC category prompts to find vocabulary words on their AAC systems.
