This winter-themed phonemic awareness activity allows students to apply letter-sound knowledge for vowels in order to complete the spelling of given CVC words. 52 words are included and are balanced to equally practice each of the short vowel sounds. Students should: - Name the picture. - Segment (tap out) the sounds. - Identify the missing sound. - Identify the corresponding letter. Vowel sounds can be tricky!
