Description: Practice recognizing the value of tied notes in this creative build-a-monster deck! Students will add up groups of tied notes to discover how many parts they need to add to each monster. WARNING: with so many different features and accessories it may be hard to get them to STOP playing! This deck covers quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes and whole notes in simple meter. It is ideal for students in their first year or two of music study. Audio instructions are included for each card and play automatically for the first two cards. The rest of the cards are randomized so the student has a different game every time they play. The default is set for 10 cards per play, but teachers can change this in "custom play settings" to allow for shorter or longer games. Great for online or in-person piano lessons, theory classes, music classes, music labs, take-home activities, homeschooling, and device-based learning.
