Description: These 30 Boom™ cards allow your students to listen to the names of 2 pictures and decide if they rhyme or not. The children answer by clicking on the signs for yes and no which are indicated by the words and smile/sad faces. Your students will also learn two sight words - yes, no! There are 20 rhyming pairs and 10 that do not rhyme but begin with the same consonant sound. Great for distinguishing between first and last sounds - an important phonemic awareness skill! All 30 cards have sound directions which name the pictures for independent work. They are presented randomly 20 at a time in a session but you can change that amount in your library. A fun activity for whole group instruction as well as reading stations for individual practice.
