Description: Adults like seasonal activities, but they don't want to do the same things their children do. Give your beginning-level adult ESL students some vocabulary to talk about the winter season. This 30-card deck was made for them! No cutesy pictures--just real winter-related photos. This deck is completely holiday-free. It is strictly seasonal. In this deck, students will hear a winter-themed term or phrase. They will then select the correct photo from a group of six photos and the correct term/phrase from a list of six. There is no typing involved. This deck will NOT appeal to young learners. Want an easier or more challenging version? Check out the winter vocabulary bundle! Each deck is also available separately. https://wow.boomlearning.com/store/bundle/MtGoA7btsye4uMzED Winter terms include: snow chains, sweater, snowflakes, snow shovel, snow boots, snowman, gloves, make a snow angel, go ice-skating, ice skates, frost, skid off the road, ice scraper, go skiing, scarf, black ice, go sledding, gingerbread, mittens, snowplow, icicles, hot chocolate, snowdrift, slip and fall, shovel snow, freezing, blizzard, snowball, coat, & hat.
