Description: This activity is designed for Wilson Step 5.4 but can be used with students who are able to read closed, v-e, and open syllables. Syllable Scramble - Students read each individual syllable and put them in the correct order to make a real word. There is a recorded hint available if they get stuck. This activity provides practice that reinforces understanding of closed, v-e, and open syllable types. The words included are: develop, educate, insecure, enemy, potato, industry, colony, volcano, misbehave, and absolute.
