Description: In this sweet game, students will count the candy canes in the girl's hands then select the matching numeral. Students will practice one-to-one correspondence, and connecting counting and cardinality to find the answer. This is a great way for students to practice early number sense skills. This deck has 11 cards that will be randomized in each gameplay. Each time a student plays it will be a new deck. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4.A When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
