Description: This deck of Boom Cards includes 48 cards that review enharmonic notes as well as accidentals and note recognition on the treble and bass staves with a fun penguin theme. Each card presents one note on the treble or bass staff. Students must first figure out the name of the note on the staff, then decide which answer below is that note's enharmonic equivalent. Students play the card by tapping the answer that is the enharmonic equivalent of the note on the staff. (Answers use sharps, flats and naturals.) If students get stuck figuring out the answer, they can tap the penguin, which will reveal a keyboard underneath to help visualize the enharmonic equivalents. (Audio instructions also instruct students to tap the penguin for a hint.) Audio instructions are included on each card and play automatically for the first 3 cards. Students play 20 cards at a time. Cards are randomized after the first 3 cards and students play different cards each time they play. Every sharp and flat note on the bass staff and treble staff are included in this deck, from F2-G5.
