Description: This is a 37-card St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt that will teach students about St. Patrick and the customs and traditions associated with the holiday. While completing the hunt, students will learn what traumatic event happened to St. Patrick when he was a teenager, why the clover is a symbol for the holiday, as well as their chances of finding a 4-leaf clover and other interesting facts. To complete the hunt, students are presented with a question with some possible answers. Then they read a passage where the information can be found. They receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck, challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt. It is a good way to teach students about the holiday and can be used for reading or social studies lessons as well as an easy lesson for a sub.
