Description: This set of tone of voice BOOM cards is for middle and high school students needing practice in choosing and using appropriate emotional tones of voice. Students practice evaluating a social situation given pictures and audio diirections and record themselves saying their message in their chosen emotional tone of voice. Last, they rate themselves. Each slide contains: A photograph, Recorded directions, A few sentences explaining the social scenario, Three emotion emojis with the spoken tone of the emotion, (students choose which tone to use), A text box where students type in a response and then practice it in the chosen tone. On all practice cards, there is a feature for students to record their own tone of voice and play it back! Click "recorder" button in upper right hand corner. Then, they rate themselves.
