Description: Your adult ESL students who struggle with the unvoiced th, /θ/, will love this challenge because they can work on improving their ability to distinguish /θ/ from /s/ and /t/ at their own pace and in the privacy of their own homes. I created this deck of minimal triplet phonemes with adult students in mind. It is not designed to appeal to young children. Each card has a list of THREE minimal triplets, using /θ/, /s/, and /t/. Students will hear a word and then select the word they heard from the list of three. Audio is set to play automatically, and students may click on the icon to listen again as many times as they want. This deck uses minimal triplets with initial sounds and with final sounds.
