Description: Visual Memory refers to the ability to recall visual information that has been seen. It is a critical factor in reading and writing (recalling the formation of parts of the letter from memory). Strong visual memory skills lead to important classroom skills, such as copying letters/words/sentences from a chalkboard or book, handwriting skills, and reading (sight words recall, comprehension in reading, following along with reading activities). This Valentine's Memory activity will challenge your child's visual memory as he/she recalls details in pictures previously seen in order to choose the correct match.
