It may be sad to say goodbye at the end of the school year, but here’s a way to toss some giggles into the mix. Most kids are familiar with "See you later, alligator" and "After while, crocodile," but Boom Cards add a new twist to these old favorites. Kids will solve 26 multiple choice rhymes, plus they will make up one of their own. There are thirty pages in all, including the last page farewell poem. These rhymes are easy to share digitally or in person. My students used to memorize one line at a time until they could recite the entire collection by the last day of school. We had daily competitions and memorizing these silly sayings became a classroom tradition and a lasting memory. Your students will love them for years to come.
