Description: This deck of 73 cards is designed for middle and high school students to work on making inferences from social cues and text. It may also be appropriate for older elementaryy students. It includes: Home page, Teaching information, Self-rating and knowledge checks. Each slide has: *a real photograph, *brief (1-2 sentences) social scenario, *four choices of conclusions that can be inferred from the picture and text. Either 1,2, or 3 answers can be correct to keep your students thinking! The last portion of the deck has cards where there are no response choices and students write in the inferences they can make from the picture and the scenario. Do you have struggliing readers?
