Description: Your students will love practicing multi-step equations (combining like terms, distributive property, no variables on both sides) as they learn some interesting trivia about our states! With this activity, students will read the trivia question at the top of the card and then click on the license plate of the state they think is the answer. Once students reveal the correct state, they will see a multi-step equation to solve. They must type the correct answer in the solution box before moving onto the next slide. The set includes 24 cards that are randomized into games of 12 cards at a time. This is great for partner work (students can keep track of who guesses the most trivia questions correctly!) or independent work as it is fun, motivating, and self-checking!
