Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills with thanksgiving food. Students are presented with a thanksgiving table with 1 food or drink on it. Students are presented with the gestalt phrase "This is A __" to help them formulate sentences using these phrases. This activity includes: - A variety of thanksgiving food items (e.g. pie, bread, turkey, cornucopia, jam, corn, yam, vegetables, pumpkin, mashed potatoes, carrots, water, sweet potatoes, gravy, ham, stuffing, cranberries, green beans, pumpkin pie, cake) The following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity: - Answering WH questions - Gestalt Language - Expanding Utterances & Increasing MLU - Labeling Food
