Description: This boom card deck includes 4 different short stories each with core and fringe vocabulary to teach the concepts of comparisons and descriptive language. Every page has an audio recording for non-readers to listen to the stories. Each story focuses on a different comparative/superlative adjective followed by 2 simple comprehension questions. Each short story is 4-5 pages long. Use these stories as part of speech/language therapy to reinforce new vocabulary. The repetitive use of target vocabulary in the audio combined with visual context helps to support the retention of new language concepts. These books can also be used in AAC therapy with aided input or modeling of keywords. Book 1: Fast, faster, fastest Read about three cars as they race to find out who is the fastest. Book 2: Slow, slower, slowest These three snails are not going anywhere fast. Read to see who is going to be the slowest. Book 3: Big, bigger, biggest Three big dogs go on a big, bigger, and biggest adventure to find the magic meadow. Book 4: Small, smaller, smallest Join three small mice as they explore their home to find the kitchen and eat some cheese.
